Albanian Film Commission

The Albanian Film Commission (AFC) is a nonprofit organization which created 2001 which aims to attract audiovisual production companies by providing subsidies to lower the costs of preparation, production and post- production of the projects shot in Albanian territory.
AFC provides a variety of free services to solve logistical problems. It’s headquarters is in Tirana.

AFC is one of the co-organizers the Tirana International Film Festival. Some of AFC’s sctivities:

– THE FORGIVENESS OF BLOOD, 2011, US-Albanian production by Joshua Marston, winner Silver Bear, Berlinale 2011, for best script. (feature)

– Diploma shorts of the students of MASTER in Film & TV Directing, May 2013
